Hank Weaver New braunfels Concert reviews
Waited 40 years for Carole
"I played Tapestry over and over again after my junior year breakup, when I first heard Carole King sing It's Too Late at this amazing concert. To hear her voice as clear and strong as it was in 1971 was just outstanding. She was worth the wait, with goosebumps on my arms. I have wanted to see Carole King since high school, the only other album I have owned in album, 8-track, cassette, and CD besides Neil Diamond's Hot August Night from 1972. Sweet Baby James, another awesome performer, always moves me with his music. I would know his music anywhere, and what I didn't know is what a great personality he has - he made me smile all night. As far as vocally, the years have been very kind to him. This concert was so worth the money!!!!"
